With grapes grown in the soils of Mt. Etna in Sicily, this wine explodes with flavor much like the volcano who’s foothills it originates from. A bouquet of cherries, blueberries, and blackberries persists into the palate, where it is met with blackcurrant and oak notes for a full-bodied and velvety wine with a delightfully persistent finish. ‘Femina’ is made from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes, which are macerated for 30 days before fermentation and aged one year in oak barrels and one year in bottle. This wine easily pairs with all varieties of meats and cheeses.
