cocao•citrus•mellow
We roasted this bean to a slightly darker profile, emphasizing its cocoa attributes and nuttiness to create a pleasing, yet delicate balance of acidity and flavorful body. A rich and mellow coffee perfectly balanced with full body, mild orange-like acidity, very clean flavor, and a strong, nutty aroma. Roast: medium-dark
Region: Town of Banz, Western Highlands, Waghi Valley, Papua New Guinea Altitude: 1,580 meters Process: Fully washed after depulping and fermenting, then dried in the sun This coffee comes from the Kimel plantation, which is owned locally by traditional land owners, primarily the Opais tribe.
