Dark Roast Coffees
Dark roast coffees have a stronger flavor, and some of the nuances of the beans are masked by the darker roast in favor of "bite". The following coffees are listed from slightly-darker-than-average to very dark.
Vienna Roast

This South American blend is roasted only slightly darker than our regular roast. It has some subtle dark roast taste while maintaining the mild characteristics of the South American coffees.

Light French Roast

This blend is our house espresso blend, but it's great for straight brewing as well. We combine South American and African coffees to provide the complexity and strength required for a truly great espresso blend, and though we categorize it as one of our dark-roasts, it's really just-past-medium in order to preserve that character.

Dark Colombian

Roasted dark to provide a moderately bold flavor. The mildness of the Colombian coffee makes for a very smooth cup, with the darker roast adding a bit of "bite".

This blend of Central and South American coffees is our second-darkest roast, providing a very bold flavor for the dark-roast lover.

It doesn't get any darker than this---at least not at The Mill. Dropped from the roaster just prior to bursting into flames, our Dark Italian Roast will stand your hair on end.
